The battery is fully charged and has 14v. All connections seem fine. The main fuse ohms out good. There is no power getting to the ignition switch. Ran power directly from battery to ignition switch to ensure there''s power there, but it still does not get electrical power when turning the key to the on position. Is this a bad ignition switch?

84 Magna V65, electrical problems
There should be two small wires and two large wires to the relay, disconnect the two small wires and put in a known good 30A fuse. Turn on the key and press the start button. If the fuse blows again, I would look at the wiring from the starter button to the relay (sometimes it can get pinched between metal objects or insulation will rub off).

It is a 1986 Honda 1100 v65 Magna, mechanically it looks solid but seems to be plagued with electrical problems I haven''t quite figured out yet.
