NORTH DAKOTA INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION AWARDS $500,000 IN RENEWABLE ENERGY
BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Industrial Commission has approved $500,000 in Renewable Energy Program funds to Hankinson Renewable Energy (HRE) for the installation of a Stack Heat Recovery (SHR) system.

Hankinson ethanol plant installing demo-scale anaerobic digester
Hankinson Renewable Energy LLC, a 120 MMgy ethanol plant in Hankinson, N.D., is in the process of starting up an anaerobic digester to produce 54 MMBtu of biogas a year, according to David Rein, a process engineer with Rein & Associates.
