Cummins announced its plan to purchase the British battery production capacities of Johnson Matthey specializing on electric and hybrid vehicles. As part of the agreement, both manufacturers Cummins and Johnson Matthey have agreed to cooperate for the development of enhanced lithium nickel oxide (eLNO) high energy battery systems.
